Bought it for my mom's arthritis, she actually uses it!

My mom has terrible arthritis in her hands and knees, making simple things like opening jars or walking difficult. I've bought her various gadgets over the years that mostly collect dust. I decided to try the PRUNGO based on reviews mentioning ease of use for seniors. Success! She found it simple to operate and likes that she can strap it onto her knee while reading or put her hand inside the strap comfortably. She uses it most days and says it "takes the edge off" the constant aching, especially in the morning. She even called me specifically to say thank you and tell me it was helping, which is high praise indeed! Seeing her get some relief makes it worth every penny.

Versatile tool for an active (and aching) family!

Okay, so between my running, my husband's weekend basketball league, and two kids in travel soccer and gymnastics, somebody in our house is always complaining about something hurting! I initially bought the PRUNGO for my plantar fasciitis, which it has helped IMMENSELY (used it on my heel/arch every night). But it quickly became the go-to recovery tool for everyone. My husband uses it on his lower back and knees after hoops. My son straps it onto his shins for splints or his ankle after a minor sprain. My daughter even used it on her shoulder when she strained it in gymnastics. The different intensity levels are great because what feels good for my foot is different from what my husband needs for his back. The carrying case keeps it all organized and charged. Honestly, considering how much use it gets from everyone, it's been a fantastic investment. It beats stocking up on endless bags of ice and smelly creams!

Pretty darn good for site aches.

Workin' construction is hell on the body, 'specially the lower back and shoulders after hauling materials all day. This PRUNGO unit ain't a miracle cure, but it definitely helps loosen things up end of day. Use it on the medium setting usually. Takes the edge off the soreness so I don't feel completely seized up watchin' TV. Straps work okay, sometimes gotta fiddle to get 'em tight on the shoulder right. But overall, solid tool for the price. Does what it claims.

Great for post-ride quad soreness

After long bike rides, my quads can feel like bricks. Started using the PRUNGO FluxGo on them as part of my recovery. Really seems to help flush out the lactic acid or whatever it is. Less DOMS the next day. The portability is great, just toss it in my gear bag. Solid product for cyclists.

Great addition to my knee scope recovery!

Had arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus cleanup. My PT is great, but I wanted to do everything possible to speed up healing. My therapist was familiar with RLT and approved adding PRUNGO. I use it twice daily around the knee area (avoiding incision sites initially). Combined with my exercises, I feel it really helped manage the swelling and soreness, especially in those first few weeks. It felt like it accelerated the process. Easy to use while resting.

Quantifiably faster recovery times for leg day DOMS.

As someone who tracks my workouts and recovery metrics pretty closely, I was curious if PRUNGO could make a measurable difference beyond just subjective feeling. I focused on my leg days, which reliably induce significant DOMS for 2-3 days. For a month, I did my usual routine. The next month, I added 15-minute PRUNGO sessions (strong setting) targeting quads and hamstrings immediately post-workout and again before bed. My subjective soreness rating decreased faster (typically feeling "recovered" a full day earlier), and my readiness scores on my fitness tracker (based on HRV etc.) also showed a trend towards quicker normalization after implementing PRUNGO. While not a controlled scientific study, the consistent pattern over several weeks convinced me it's accelerating my muscle recovery process significantly. The device itself is well-built and easy to incorporate into my post-workout routine. Highly effective.

Good stuff.

Helps my elbow after work. Simple.

Helps knee recovery after trails

Got this mainly for knee soreness after hiking moderate trails. It definitely seems to reduce the usual aches and stiffness the next day. The straps hold it in place well. Only giving 4 stars because the control buttons could be a tiny bit more intuitive at first glance.

Foot saver!

Bliss after a long shift. My feet thank PRUNGO!

Finally found something that helps my chronic sciatica!

I've battled sciatica off and on for years after a lifting injury. Tried everything: PT, stretches, inversion table, countless chiropractor visits, even considered injections. Some things provided temporary relief, but the deep ache and nerve pain down my leg always came back. I read some studies on red light therapy for nerve pain and inflammation and decided to give PRUNGO a shot, frankly without much hope. I've been using it religiously twice a day for about 6 weeks now, focusing on my lower back, glute, and along the sciatic nerve pathway on the affected leg (using the straps to keep it in place). The change hasn't been overnight, but it's been STEADY. The constant deep ache has reduced significantly, maybe by 70-80%? The sharp nerve pain flare-ups are much less frequent and less intense. I can sit longer without agony and sleep better. It's easy to use, holds a charge well, and the targeted application feels much more effective than the RLT panels I looked at. For anyone with chronic nerve-related back/leg pain, I strongly suggest giving this consistent effort. It's been a life-changer for me where other things failed.

Bought it for my husband, now I use it too! (Hip bursitis)

My husband is a long-haul trucker and uses his PRUNGO religiously for his back and legs (as per another review I saw!). He raved about it so much, I decided to try it on my nagging hip bursitis. I get sharp pain on the outside of my hip, especially after sitting or lying on that side. I started using the PRUNGO directly on the painful spot for about 15 minutes before bed. After about a week of consistent use, I noticed a real difference. The sharp pain became less intense, and I wasn't waking up sore anymore. It's easy to position with the straps. Now we joke about needing a second unit! It's great that one device can help with such different types of pain. Very effective technology.

Yes!

Relief for my sore feet after long walks. Love it!

Pretty good

Helps the elbow tendonitis. Straps could be simpler maybe? But it works.

Awesome recovery tool

Use it after track practice. Legs feel fresher. 👍👍

I don't regret it one day at all!

It's been just over a month now since I started my journey with Prungo. I don't regret it one day at all! I used to own another piece of red light, but it was inferior to Prungo in so many ways. I'm a retired Army soldier of 23 years, and I put my body through some pretty rigorous training over that period of time. After 23 years, I don't recover quite as well as I used to. My joints are stiff and take longer to heal after strenuous work. I've used prescribed medicated creams, TENS units, and massage guns, but only got mixed results. In the first 30 days of using my Prungo units, let me tell you, there is a big difference in my recovery time, the lower level of stiffness and soreness, and best of all, the steadiness that I feel within the use of my joints. thank you so much from this Army vet, you've given me my joint mobility back, and I am indebted to you folks.

Well-engineered device, effective but note on strap length.

From an engineering perspective, the PRUNGO unit itself feels robustly built. The materials seem high-grade, the LED placement is logical for coverage, and the charging case is efficiently designed. Functionally, it delivers noticeable relief for my recurring golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis) from weekend projects. The timed sessions and variable intensity are well-implemented features. My only minor critique is regarding the included straps – while versatile, for larger muscle groups like thighs or for individuals with larger limbs, an optional longer strap would be beneficial for optimal positioning and security. I managed, but it was close. However, the core device performance is excellent and aligns with the principles of PBM. 4.5 stars if possible, rounding down to 4 due to the strap length consideration for some users.

Takes the edge off after lifting boxes

Working in logistics means lots of lifting and being on my feet. My lower back usually pays the price. Using the PRUNGO for a session when I get home really helps ease that deep ache. It's become part of my daily routine now. Seems sturdy too.

Using it BEFORE the pain starts.

Here's a different take: I use my PRUNGO before big yard work days or helping a buddy move. I know my trouble spots (lower back, shoulder). Hit them with a 15-min session beforehand. Seems to warm things up and I genuinely feel less sore afterwards compared to when I forget. It's like giving the muscles a heads-up. Still use it after for recovery too, but the pre-emptive use has been surprisingly effective for me.

Love this thing

Essential for my post-run recovery. Calves feel much better.

Less pain = Better sleep! Huge benefit.

My main issue was shoulder and hip pain that would literally wake me up at night whenever I rolled over. Since starting regular PRUNGO sessions before bed, the intensity of that nighttime pain has dramatically decreased. I'm sleeping through the night much more often now, which has knock-on benefits for my energy and mood during the day. Didn't even buy it specifically for sleep, but it's been one of the biggest improvements for me!

Eases lower back pain from driving

My 90-minute commute each way was murder on my lower back. I started using the PRUNGO strapped to my back immediately after getting home. Significant relief from that stiff, compressed feeling. Wish I could use it while driving, haha, but post-commute relief is great!

Essential for sore feet and wrists!

Being a barista means constant standing, walking, and repetitive wrist motions. This PRUNGO device is a lifesaver for my aching feet arches and occasional wrist twinges after long shifts. Compact enough to keep in my locker. Definitely helps me survive the week!

Good for sore arms after painting projects

Tackled painting the whole living room last weekend and my arms/shoulders were killing me! Used the PRUNGO and it definitely helped soothe the muscle soreness faster than usual. Easy to use. The charging case is nice and neat.

Noticeable difference in neck tension

I hold all my stress in my neck and shoulders from sitting at a computer. This PRUNGO device is part of my evening wind-down routine now. I just drape it over my shoulders while reading. The warmth and (I guess?) the light really seem to loosen those knots. Fewer tension headaches lately too.

Perfect way to target specific muscles after intense training.

After heavy lifting sessions (especially deadlifts or squats), my glutes and hamstrings are usually fried. Foam rolling helps, but the PRUNGO lets me get really targeted heat and light therapy deep into those specific muscle bellies. I feel like it significantly reduces that deep, can't-sit-down soreness (DOMS) compared to just stretching or rolling alone. I use the higher intensity setting for these big muscle groups. The straps keep it perfectly in place while I relax post-workout. Key part of my recovery stack now.
